Entrepreneurship Cell (E–Cell)

The Entrepreneurship Cell of Maharani Polytechnic College is established to nurture the spirit of innovation and self-employment among students. In today’s competitive world, entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic development and job creation. The E–Cell acts as a platform where creative ideas are encouraged, guided, and transformed into viable business ventures.

Objectives

  • ✔️ To develop entrepreneurial skills and leadership qualities among students.
  • ✔️ To organize workshops, seminars, and guest lectures on startup development.
  • ✔️ To create awareness about government schemes, MSME programs, and funding opportunities.
  • ✔️ To mentor students with innovative business ideas and provide incubation support.
  • ✔️ To encourage self-reliance and promote the motto: “Be a Job Creator, Not Just a Job Seeker.”

The E–Cell regularly conducts Entrepreneurship Awareness Camps, Business Idea Competitions, and Startup Showcases, inspiring students to take the first step towards innovation and enterprise.



Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) is constituted in accordance with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013. The committee ensures a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all women students, faculty, and staff on campus.

Objectives

  • ✔️ To prevent and address complaints related to sexual harassment or gender discrimination.
  • ✔️ To promote gender equality and sensitivity through awareness programs.
  • ✔️ To maintain confidentiality, fairness, and justice in every case handled.
  • ✔️ To create a zero-tolerance environment towards harassment of any kind.

The ICC regularly conducts awareness sessions, workshops, and counseling programs to educate students and staff about respectful conduct and women’s safety.

Anti-Ragging Committee

Maharani Polytechnic College maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy towards ragging in any form. The Anti-Ragging Committee ensures that the campus remains a safe and welcoming environment where students feel secure and respected.

Objectives

  • ✔️ To prevent any act of ragging—physical, verbal, or emotional—inside or outside the campus.
  • ✔️ To spread awareness among students about the legal consequences of ragging.
  • ✔️ To ensure prompt investigation and disciplinary action in reported cases.
  • ✔️ To build a culture of respect, friendship, and mutual support among students.

Every student and parent is required to submit an Anti-Ragging Declaration at the time of admission. Awareness programs, orientation sessions, and vigilance teams work together to ensure a ragging-free campus.



Anti-Drug Awareness Committee

The Anti-Drug Awareness Committee of Maharani Polytechnic College is formed to educate students about the harmful effects of drugs and substance abuse. The committee works closely with local health authorities and NGOs to spread awareness and promote healthy living habits.

Objectives

  • ✔️ To create awareness about the physical, psychological, and social consequences of drug abuse.
  • ✔️ To conduct seminars, rallies, and counseling sessions for prevention.
  • ✔️ To identify students at risk and provide proper guidance and rehabilitation support.
  • ✔️ To collaborate with law enforcement and healthcare institutions for community awareness.

The committee encourages students to stay focused on their goals and uphold the college motto of “Healthy Mind, Healthy Future.”



Women’s Harassment Prevention & Welfare Committee

The Women’s Harassment Prevention and Welfare Committee ensures that all female students and staff feel safe, respected, and empowered within the institution. It works proactively to prevent any form of harassment and promotes gender sensitivity through education and engagement.

Objectives

  • ✔️ To create a secure and respectful campus for women.
  • ✔️ To provide immediate assistance and counseling in cases of harassment.
  • ✔️ To organize awareness programs on women’s rights, safety, and empowerment.
  • ✔️ To build confidence among female students through leadership and skill-based workshops.

The committee serves as a supportive body that listens, protects, and empowers. It ensures that Maharani Polytechnic College remains a place of dignity, equality, and opportunity for all.
