The Anatomy Lab at Maharani Nursing College is designed to help students understand the structure and functions of the human body through detailed study and observation. Equipped with life-size anatomical models, charts, skeletons and preserved specimens, the lab provides hands-on learning experiences. Students learn about various organ systems, tissues and physiological processes, ensuring a strong foundation for clinical practice.
The Nursing Foundation Lab serves as the starting point for practical nursing skills. It is equipped with hospital beds, patient manikins, infusion stands, dressing kits, and diagnostic equipment to help students practice procedures such as patient positioning, bed making, vital signs measurement and basic nursing interventions. This simulated hospital environment prepares students for real-world clinical settings.
The Community Health Lab focuses on preparing students for primary healthcare and rural outreach programs. It contains models, charts, and teaching aids for topics such as sanitation, nutrition, immunization, and health education. Students are trained to deliver preventive and promotive healthcare services in community and public health settings.
The MCH Lab is dedicated to the care of mothers, newborns, and children. It includes birthing simulators, infant manikins, breastfeeding models and obstetric instruments for hands-on training in prenatal, postnatal and neonatal care. Students also practice essential skills in childbirth assistance, newborn assessment and pediatric nursing.
The Computer Lab supports digital learning and healthcare IT training. It is equipped with modern computers, high-speed internet and licensed software for nursing research, data analysis and hospital information systems. Students also access online journals, e-books and participate in digital skill enhancement programs like CDAC training.
The Simulation Lab is a high-tech facility designed to replicate real-life medical and surgical situations. Using advanced patient simulators, emergency care equipment, and digital monitoring devices, students practice critical care, emergency response and specialized nursing interventions in a safe and controlled environment. This ensures they are confident and competent before working in actual hospital settings.
