About the Department
The Department of Costume Design & Fashion at Maharani Arts & Science College nurtures
creativity, design thinking, and technical expertise. Equipped with a modernized CDF lab,
advanced sewing machines, and CAD facilities, students are encouraged to experiment,
innovate, and excel.
About the Course
The B.Sc. CDF program integrates practical garment-making skills with
theoretical knowledge of fabrics, patterns, and fashion trends. Students also gain exposure
to merchandising, marketing, and entrepreneurship, preparing them for diverse roles in the
fashion industry.
